Thanks to Dr. J, Gabriella and my most precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, today is sublime! I'm honored, humbled and sincerely grateful to be considered a "rising star" in this writing.com community after a truly rotten week (of my own making, most assuredly).
Earlier this week while at Starbucks, I turned to the girl behind me in line and said, "How are you?" To which, with bright eyes and a generous smile she replied, "I'm grateful." God, may I be "truly grateful" as others pass my way from day-to-day. Amen.
