         It's been verrrrry colllddd down in the Sunshine State.  We're beginning to remember just a wee bit more how you'all suffer up north during the winter.  =) 

         My parents having been here since late afternoon Sunday, February 1, just left for home this morning at about 6:30 a.m.  They prefer driving over flying due to my dad's ears; the pressure from flying seems to bother him.  They live just beyond the pan-handle in Daphne, Alabama.  It's official too.  Though we were born and raised in Ohio, they retired to Alabama.  When they now think of "home," it's the Alabama soil for which they long, and not Ohio. 

         Though today is the last day of my vacation, and I go back to work on Monday, I'm getting my house back in order and my laundry has just about finished spinning in the dryer.  Once done, I'm heading to the gym for a nice workout.
