I made it through the first day of the work week unscathed, though I have a mound of work on my desk.  Hopefully, I can finish the revisions left for me and get started with the remaining production awaiting me before my area becomes a historical touring site.  =)

I'm reminded of Fort Ancient, a historical park in Ohio, a place of trails, artifacts and ancient Indian burial grounds.  At the elementary school I attended, it was the wonder we all anticipated with open eagerness, the one field trip taken by every third grade class --- a tradition, year-after-year.  I still remember the bus ride, every child's sack lunch collected together by our teacher with each name written boldly on our individual brown bags.  It was the first time I ever saw a vulture up close... at least I think I saw him at Fort Ancient.  Some of the field trips become intermingled at this stage of my life --- a bunch of sweet tid bits all rolled into one great adventure.

Remember, we're not to old to enjoy an adventure now and again...  I bet we can find something exciting to do this weekend that we haven't done before, or at least haven't done for a while.  Maybe we'll even start another tradition of sorts.  =)

Don't work too hard the rest of the week, but don't be lazy either.  A little hard work never hurt anybody... unless of course we overdid it.  Balance is what we need.  Have a wonderfully balanced week!
