T-Perch

I brought the t-perch back in my office for Cisco. He’s been a brat lately, tearing up the oak desk, climbing on my chair, ripping holes in the upholstery before biting my arms.

I thought he’d hate the perch. Maybe screech loud in protest. Do his best to capture my attention…but he didn’t. The perch sits 18 inches higher up than the desk. Birds love height. Otherwise, I think he’d have squawked.

The best thing about this arrangement is, now I can actually write while he’s next to me. He’ll reward me(and the rest of the household) with a quiet(er) demeanor, which in-turn calms everyone one else down—including hubby.
