         As the day winds down, I look at the date and remember a school friend whose birthday is today.  She and I just became reacquainted as I now have the e-mail addresses of my some of my more daring classmates.

         As sweat drips down my forehead and chin, I plan to turn the air-conditioner on post-haste!
