Creeping

This morning started off well, a bit of bright news and a flash of activity in what has been a quiet month. A visit from my brother seemed to plunge me headfirst into a funk. For the last few hours I've felt depression creeping at my heels. I spent the weekend with friends, perhaps that's part of it too. Living out of state from the few friends I have, makes the return sometimes that much harder. I don't think that's the real reason though, that I am feeling down all of a sudden. The world just seems..heavier somehow. It is funny that some things come so easily to some people, and that others have to work so very hard for the same simply joys.
