Viva Las Vegas
After whining about being cold in San Francisco, we now find ourselves complaining about the other extreme in Las Vegas. Hot is hardly an apt word to describe the weather here. Our hotel isn't the greatest in the resort, but thankfully it has a swimming pool, which proved very welcome today.

There must be a million and one ways to make a living in this crazy yet fascinating place, but I think they need to employ more street cleaners, although I wouldn't envy them the task. It's a fantastc place for people watching and a great source for writing, if you can find words to describe it. Once more on this trip, I find myself totally gobsmacked.

My feet hurt from walking in the hot streets.

My head hurts from all the glare, heat and noise.

My neck hurts from turning in all directions in order to take it all in.

My stomach hurts from too many big dinners.

My arms hurt from carrying shopping bags...

But I'm still loving every minute of this trip and the diversity of all the different places we've seen. Tomorrow Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon, then we'll be on the move again. Only five days left before we're back on the QM2. *Cry*

Then we start saving for the next time. *Laugh* Hope all is well with you and yours and you have a great Memorial Day.
