Gender issues
It sort of shows your generation when you bristle or emote over gender roles. I find that people under 30, maybe older, really don't get hung up on these things. They seem complacent with old images despite modern fashions and the changing job market.
People becoming adults in the sixties and seventies are much more sensitive about gender roles than others at large. I see so many ads that Ms magazine would post under "Sounds Like An Old Lady", and hear celebrities making remarks that would go under a "A Thump on the Head To. . ." These young starlets laugh at remarks we were taught to hate. And Donald Trump! What a chauvinist, and I don't here anyone complaining about his speech. He's a jerk!
The women's movement hasn't died, has it? Just because there are a few more women doctors, and Hillary campaigned for Presidential candidate? Statistics show that women's wages are still not up to par.
Stilletto heels, thongs, and bras that show to the public. Just seems like women are more exploited than ever, and not objecting to it.
