Changes Abound
I'm feeling a bit frustrated currently, but the source of frustration is a good one. See, I've got a piece I'm working on that will hopefully be suitable for publication. It's completely written and just needs to be edited.

Yes, I hate editing. Editing a piece of writing is much like cutting the grass for me--it's tedious, it's usually uncomfortable, and there are lots of bugs around. We won't even mention the dog poop.

In addition, I've just gone through a job switch (completely voluntary) and am devoting most of my energy to learning the new job. I have the skills for the new job but I am busy learning the processes and tools to get things done. So my creativity has gone down the drain right now as well as the time to be creative. And, yet, the story still calls to me. I am hoping, in the next couple of weeks, I can start the editing process and get back to some creativity...no matter how painful it actually is.
