First of all, thanks to Annie for all of the detailed reviews she has given me lately. This is especially true when it comes to my novel in progress.

Work ...real world work, continues to be slow which is normal for the summer. So far I have just goofed off and I intend to continue that. I have been to Austria for two weeks with my wife (who lives in Budapest). I just got back from a romp with my jeep in the Nevada outback for a week. The weekend after this I go to San Diego for a long weekend of golf/reunion with old navy buddies. The last two weeks of August, I am back in Budapest visiting the wife.

My work usually picks up in the fall. I like having the summer off but, I am an assistant wrestling coach at the local high school. It always seems that I am traveling away on work with the season gets here. Alas...if only I could make a living by writing.

I am a little over two weeks away from a milestone in writing. I will soon have 200 entries for the Daily Flash Fiction Challenge. I will have to do something special for Arakun the Twisted Raccoon since she had to read all of those stories.

My daily writing consists of: (1) working on something professional. This week it is a newsletter; next week some webpage stuff (2) An entry into the Flash Fiction contest (3) work on my novel and (4) reviewing.

I am also working on my Hungarian. That language is impossible.

Jim
