Stubborn Daias

stubborn daias
wrote a book today
an after 'eighties song,
'seventies song, 'sixties;
he doesn't write now at all;
summer to september
goes before the season's over;
grows a season's age;
as soon as the sun goes
on for good,
he gives summer 
to a year
sent after noons
in a journal;
says then
no cold
so fair;
a week of itinerary;
critics liked the 'twenties
journals.
