Oh yeah...

Amazing I tell ya. Nothing better than opening the report cards to see straight A's for both Zak and Danny.

There was a time when I used to dread report cards coming home. Thank God those days are over. With recent cuts to the district, and DBN getting 5mil taken away this school year, the district is cutting things left and right to make ends meet. Zak didn't have a drafting teacher for most of the first week of the new semester. Right now they have no software because the district can't afford it. Hopefully, they can find something soon. It would be a real shame for him to be stuck in a class that will not give him every advantage before he goes to college in the fall. Teachers are gone, class size has doubled as well. The school Library is closed. Only way to get in is if your teacher takes the entire class. What a load of crap. At least they are taking it in stride.

Got a haircut. Hung out with Peg. Always something I look forward to. Now if only we can grab Sue and head off somewhere to catch up. That I would love!!

How do you take a compliment? Is it easy for you to just say, "Gee thanks?" I wish it were that simple for me. Not sure why I have a difficult time taking things to heart. I know that I don't see myself the way others do. Never been able to figure out why that is either. Just seems it's something that I will never learn well. Blame the Irish! Wonder how long I'll get away with blaming my ancestry for all my quirks, but I'll keep trying.

My new venture is coming along nicely. With the help of some wonderful and knowledgeable people, we just may pull this thing off. Must give a big shout out to them for helping me. So here goes.
