Here's how the March Fiction Challenge works:





Duration: Feb. 27 (Sat.) 12:00 am WDC (EST) through April 3 (Sat.) 12:00 am WDC (EST)





EACH week's challenge will run Saturday 12:00 Am through the following Sunday 12:00 am, so 7 days to write. Each week's entry, in any division, must be brand-new and original, written during that week and uploaded to your Port during that week. No exceptions, please!





Week 1: Feb. 27-Mar. 5


Week 2: Mar. 6-Mar. 12


Week 3: Mar. 13-Mar. 19


Week 4: Mar. 20-Mar. 26


Week 5: Mar. 27-Apr. 2

Each Week's Challenge has three divisions:





1.Short Story or Flash Fiction


2.Poetry


3.Historical: any format, including short story, novel chapter, flash fiction, poetry, nonfiction

Each entry (in each division entered) requires submission of 500 gps to the Group Bank. Each entry will receive 1 review by me within the week following the Week entered, PLUS 1 review by me within the same week, of 1 item in the author's Port, in addition to my review of the Challenge entry item.





Each Contestant may enter as many Weekly Challenges, in as many Divisions, as desired! Multiple entries per Division are accepted! Each entry receives 1 review of that entry, and 1 review in that author's Port! Simply speaking: the more you write, the more you are reviewed!





Genres for the Weeks 1-4 to be chosen by me. Week 5 Challenge genre is OPEN! Choose Your Own! Remember: Week 5 Challenge Divisions still apply as to format: Short Story-Flash; Poetry; Historical-any.

Week One: Dark (Horror, Ghost, Gothic, Dark Drama, Supernatural/Paranormal-yes, even those pesky Vampires, Werewolves, and Shapeshifters)


Week Two: Romance (if your entry is rated 18+ or above, please note this in your message post listing the bitem, so I will know to expect this.)


Week Three: Family (not necessarily family-rated, but Family as a topic)


Week Four: Mystery (includes Mystery, Thriller/Suspense, Police Procedural, Detective,Crime/Gangster)


Week Five: Author's Choice (include your chosen genre or subgenre in the message forum entry PLEASE){/center|





Donations of GPS for Prizes and of Reviews for Prizes are greatly appreciated and all donors of prize packages will receive reviews by me on a timely basis.
