My Writing Marathon!! :D

Sorry for my blogging temporary absence, Gentle Readers of mine. I've not been keeping you apprised of "my views of the news" (including the sad news that the climber, on his 69th climb of Mt. St. Helens, who fell into the crater, passed away) nor have I been able to complete all my entries yet in the February Blogdown.





Well, my excuse is good: I'm currently on a Writing Marathon, which began Sunday Feb. 14 and extends through March 31. Why? Well, I had already, at the beginning of Feb. set a goal and posted it at

of finishing  one of the two current novels-The Phantom Logging Operation, the second tale and first novel in The Phantom Northern Woods Tales-on or before Feb. 28. I had planned at that time to edit it and work on Mediumistic Mary Book Three in March. Well, such is not to be.





Feb. 14-Feb. 20 I am engaged in

and had set my goal at 11K on "TPLO" and on Feb. 16, I committed to 50K in March on The Haunted Greenhouse," the sequel to "TPLO," when I signed up on that date for

The point of all this is to say that I've got to churn out 2000K plus word count per day through Feb. 28, to complete "TPLO" at 50K or better, and in March I'll be both writing a 50K sequel-and administering, reviewing, and judging
