I was wiping up cat puke before 6am this morning...  doesn't happen too often.  My kitty ate his breakfast too fast and some of it came back up on the floor.  Gave it a quick swipe and threw it into a plastic bag and then a toss into the garbage.

Speaking of garbage, I have two small cans --- one in the bathroom and the other under the sink.  I've never before had such a small kitchen can, but it fits under the sink and how much garbage can one person really make?  I take it out every few days----no biggie----walking to the dumpster provides me with more exercise.

When I got my haircut yesterday, there was a sweet little old man sitting in the shop waiting for his haircut.  As I think about ages, my grandma and my parents come to mind.  Grandma is 91 and my parents are in their 70s.  I'm thinking the sweet little guy in Fantastic Sam's had to be in his mid-to-late 80s --- or early 90s.  He had trouble standing from a sitting position, and it seemed to fluster him a bit that I saw him struggle to get up.  Guys like to be "macho" ---- even old guys.  I wanted to give him a hug---but didn't feel the liberty to do so.  When I got home after my cut, I had to think about how easily it was for me to get up and down and that it may not always be so as I get older.  Part of living is dying.
