Excuses/History

"Difficulty is the excuse history never accepts."
~Edward R. Murrow

History is a delicious hindsight that almost seems to mock the mistakes made. History lays the foundations  of mistakes to be either a learning process or a plague on the mind stifling forward action.

What decides this is how you view it. If you make excuses for the mistake, you are likely to avoid and swerve from the truth, and history is likely to repeat itself. If you hit the truth and understand it, you can shoot forwards into the future not held back by crippling clinging to thoughts about mistakes.

You are all allowed to forgive yourself and move on. Punishing yourself does nothing at all, except waste your time.
