Leaves
A Tanka about the joys of childhood and playing in the leaves.

Leaves

Autumn winds doth blow
Graceful leaves float to the ground
While waiting children
Rake their bounty with fervor
Scattering them to the wind.




The Tanka has five lines with a syllable structure of 5, 7, 5, 7, 7
