I'm still here
Hi, yea people I'm still here *Smile* First of all please forgive me for not blogging sooner. Thank you so much for accepting me into the group. I have to giggle about the prompt from the other day asking whether you are a leader or a follower - well... I am afraid I have been a FOLLOWER this week. I have been so far behind that I'm sure I trail everyone by 2 days or better. My novel writing 101 group, my circle of blogging friends, my email requests, my house work (UGH) --you name it- sometimes I feel exhausted before the sun comes up- but anyway I wanted to respond to todays prompt and add the Circle of Bogging Friends insignia my site.*Smile*
The prompt asks for one of my most pleasant surprises.....

I have to say that I have had many through out my life it hard to choose just one. I decided on one that has also become a memory and is renewed yearly. It is the ability to attend the annual Pyle's Boy Camp Barbeque.
It is a fund raiser for underprivileged boys. Oh sure they have a live country western band (OH YEA) and Budweiser stands (yum!), activities for the kids (everything from face painting to dunking local T.V. and radio hosts, fantastic food, raffles (sponsored by all the major businesses in town) and the list goes on and on.

What I come home with every year is the feeling contentment. Not only have we contributed to a great cause, had a great time but we have had a quality and fun time with our family and friends and we are blessed with new friendships as well. It has become a family tradition. We started over forty years ago when we had to tote play pens, strollers and diaper bags. Now it is our children doing the toting. *Smile*

This May I get to receive my most favorite surprise again*Delight*
