The past several days have been tough. I've been trying to find realism, yet it seems elusive. Just when I think things are looking brighter, something comes along and shakes my faith. I'm aware that everyone has times like this, but why do some try destroying what you believed real? I'm sorting things out, and know I must do what I have to in order to find peace of heart and mind again. What happened to loyalty and amiability?....genuine emotions??? Why try hurting others by letting them know you aren't appreciated by ones you believed in? It is genuine love and respect I want, and in return give. I WILL NOT accept less, for when I give others a place in my heart, it's real and they remain there forever. Those who know me are aware that I am not one who cries in her beer, so to speak, but resilient and faithful to my friends. I'll bounce back. However, I will not be played a fool. I'm wise enough to know that lines must be drawn sometimes, and will draw mine if I have to. For those who have had similar feelings, my heart goes out to you. No one should be made to feel this way. Hurt? You're damned right I am!
