I will share the many thoughts that invade my introspective soul. |
October 7th, 2013 If God were a woman, every man would say O God What a woman, one worth giving my heart. Not the kind that primps and paints a soul to take Saying who needs God when you have a woman like me? If God were a woman, every child would be blessed. Time for a child would trump every thing else. Not the kind who sees all kids as pests, Who'd rather be lonely than give them a chance If God were a woman, there would be service to all. The least of these matter, to these God would call. Not the kind that wants to be the center of attention more interested in self than divine intervention. If God were a woman, true faithfulness you'd see There'd be only one woman who could set your heart free. Not the kind who competes with all others for one man As if she and no one else could fulfill sexual needs If God were a woman, we could look forward to safety As a woman God would keep us forever to see Not the kind that sees trouble and runs far away Your now on your own run away and go play If God were a woman, and then we'd all finally know there is no need for sexualization as the only way to go For we are told that we worship in spirit and truth So God as a woman might heal and be soothed To be continued..... Ye who without sin go ahead cast the first stone!! |
