Another Sad Day

My mother-in-law passed away today.

At 99 there is little to be said or complain about and at least she had no serious or painful conditions.

She'd been in hospital since July and recently moved to a care home. It's just so awfully sad to see those we care about deteriorate over such a long period of time while awaiting that dreaded phone call.

But I also know only too well how painful it is to lose a loved one suddenly and unexpectedly.

We can't win either way can we?
