Sabbath
November 10, 2013

I am glad for a day of rest. I am very sure God knew we needed one. When I look over the passage in Genesis, it seems ironic that God seems to be the one that needs the rest. After creating all us guys and knowing about all the frustration up ahead, what do you expect. I can picture God like my own father just getting the news that his son or daughter was lost and ran out of gas AGAIN! It happened for the one hundredth time and when were they going to ever learn their lesson. I am of the opinion our God is just so great and wonderful. So the next time it gets to be a sabbath take time to celebrate. It could be you getting that call instead of God. WWJD could instead be WWYD. And I for one would not want to be on the other end "Y", not only because I doubt "YOU" would know what to do, but more importantly even "WHY". Thank God for the sabbath it makes all the work that happens by nothing short of a miracle worth all the gas and reorientation that takes place in a week. *BigSmile*
