hungering for the facts
I read about your life
from angles acute and obtuse
grasping at coincidence
as connection

our epicanthic eyes
the number twenty-seven
the strain in the relation
to your mother

I want to see a sister
I am more the voyeur
squinting at your images
prying at your life
as if I could have been the one
to change the end
