November 8, 2014 "Synchronicity"
Unfortunate Timing

The Bride and Groom met by the lake

Their joy and happiness so clear

To see

Her eyes, how they sparkled for him

Her lips how they longed to be kissed

By him

His heart quickened as she drew near

Waiting for the perfect timing

To ask

Resounding yeses filled the air

They spun around upon the dock

Miss step

She could not swim her life was gone

He tried to find her till the dawn

Too tired

~~~~*~~~~
At autumn’s peak they planned to wed
Not knowing soon their lives would cease
Lifeless
Down the path when raining leaves
The other worldly specters dance
At peace
