Letting the Guardian Angel Win
One of these days my guardian angel will have a hissy fit and bop me on the head. Today, it was 5 below, but I did make sure the windshield wipers were working. Too bad my brain was not working as well as the wipers. At the half way point, I look down casually to see how slow I was going because we have frigid winter road construction in this ridiculous state, and I see a red light. I am a little concerned and try to figure out what that red light meant. I am in the 4th level of denial when i have to admit that the redlight meant i did not latch the trunk and it is very possible i will have that dang thing bouncing around any second. My guardian angel must have been sitting on it, because it did not catch air and fly open like I fully expected to happen. What an absolutely crazy day.
