No Room for the Negative
My siblings combine our Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations into one day falling on the first weekend of December every year. Whoever can make it does.





My dad and stepmom are snowbirds and head down to AZ as soon as the winter chill sets in. This year I made a backhanded invitation by saying: If you don't mind freezing your butt off, check the family newsletter for the wheres and whens.





Of course, they said, no they prefer to be warm.





My jaw hit the floor when i walk in the room and see them there. I could not shut up or stop smiling.
