Day One of the Standoff
So I started out this morning greeted with a hissy fit by young son. All I did was ask him to help with laundry. I swear. He went off on me about not helping because I did not appreciate him when he did things wrong. Rather than ask for training and development, he threw a hissy fit -- I think he strained his vocal chords -- and refused.

I asked him: Do you really want to run in that direction? He mistook my calmness for being wrong. Silly boy. He might figure it out with clues. His first clue will be no laundry being done for him. If it is done, it will be by accident. His second clue that I am a bit miffed is that I will start throwing his "stuff" away.

This should be fun.
