Benjamin Franklin Effect
So the daughter stopped by to talk after visiting her dad in the nursing home (it's a temporary stay for PT). She likes to do laundry and pick up mail before going back to her place. The topic turned to the Benjamin Franklin effect. I thought I got it for a minute and a half, and I blew it by saying: I don't have to worry about that because I would not borrow anything from someone I don't like. She rolled her eyes and decided it best to leave before my head exploded. She is a smart girl.
