Medicine for the soul

I will be looking at how my writing is a medicine like many others I take.

At night before I go to bed I take any number of medicines. I take things for my stomach, chemical imbalances, thyroid, vitamins, fish oil and other things I can not remember at the moment. Maybe I need to take a pill for that too. My blog is medicine for the soul. It lets me know that I am still her on my island waiting for a boat to take me home.

I feel puzzled about what is going on with my brothers and sisters back East in Boston. The only thing I know for sure is that there is a lot of snow. I feel for my friend Chris in Wyoming who is dealing with a lot of health issues. Bill just lost his sister and his stepfather is not doing well. Jan is up against the state and who knows what that means? I sure don't. I know only that God has it all under control and I will wake up and see what God is doing beyond what I dream.
