Your arms come like the baseline
but when will these thoughts of yours become mine?
I've escaped every plan I created
only to find yours abated.
This statutory basketball at your home court
is a fixed game that I haven't practiced for
but now I'm in it and starting to heat up.
You can't tell me that it's over when it's just begun.
