The Cost
6/10

There are no seasons
when you are lost.
No wind will carry you
if you outweigh your cost.

They pray for sinners
and they pray for thieves
but who prays for those
who play for keeps?

Get out! Get out!
But there's no way inside.
Get out! Get out!
But there's no way to try.

It's always excitement
at Judgement Day.
There's never enlightenment
when you have your say.

You can't deny
and you can't confirm.
You always look back
when there's no way to turn.

Get out! Get out!
But there's no way inside.
Get out! Get out!
But there's no way to try.

An extension of useless
is where you've lived.
You've given your all
when you had none to give.

The past destroys you
for all the lives you've won
when nothing could stop you.
You've been the only one.

Get out! Get out!
But there's no way inside.
Get out! Get out!
But there's no way to try....

Sometimes you get stuck in a place
and back your way out into space.
You paid with more than you can afford
and everyone knows you're overboard.
You've been gifted and returned fruitless.
You have overstayed your purpose.
Everybody lives for love of some kind,
and even if it's hate,
you never seemed to mind, soooooo...

Get out! Get out!
But there's no way inside.
Get out! Get out of your head!
But there's no way to try.
Get out! Get out!
But there's no way inside.
Get out! Get out of your head!
But there's no way to try.

There is no reason
when you are lost.
There's nothing to carry you
when you are the cost.
When you are the cause.
When you are the cost.
You are the cause
and now you're the cost.
