Colorful Metaphors Dancing on my Tongue
The good news is: I still have a job. At the end of the day yesterday, my boss shoved an email in my face and asked me what I made of it. I really stepped in a pile of stinky manure. Apparently 3 months ago when I electronically filed a pleading, I was supposed to file it with attachments. I filed the pleading, but not the disclosures. I did send them by mail, but the U.S. Postal Service managed to lose it. I thought that I would get the boot for that screw up. But I only got yelled at, worked like a dog and now he has ammo for the next 3 months. I'm thinking of a word that starts with s and rhymes with hit. Again.
