Prompt: Create me something-- anything using these words: Heat wave, bubbly, laughter, red, white, blue and fire fighter. Pick some or use them all but let your creativity take you where ever.


Nothing endures. Heat wave steals our stamina with bubbly laughter, until it fades into the darkness of a fire-fighter night. The astral lights, their purposes unknown, wilt to frail colors and are swallowed by black holes. As obstinately as my hands push away the years, they too will give up before the last act.

Except those jubilant drums and the red, white, and blue candles and their light that suddenly burst glittering in the sky, no matter how fatigued and how messy our fights get.
