What does peace mean to me?

First, I need a definition of peace.

Peace: To prevent or refrain from strife. There is no possible solution to all strife. So, there will be no positive peace until it is desired by everyone on the earth.

Peace for me is when no one is entering my home illegally and stealing food, clothing, and tools. It is when the local psychics are not sending messages into my home by way of radio waves.

Peace for me is when I don’t have to have a gun permit or carry a revolver when I go for a walk because people don’t want to hurt people.

It is when people who are superstitious learn a little biology and history and realize computers are not going to take over the world. Maybe, robots but not computers.

It is when Isis wants to build instead of destroy in the name of a prophet. (the one true God does not believe in sacrifice, he is filled with a desire for mercy, wants people to be healthy and prosperous.)

It is when world hunger is resolved; clean water is available to all; and the earth is calm because we are using renewable energy.

It is when education is free to anyone who will learn. You can actually take free online courses now if you know where to look.

It is when the commodities market does not add to the problems of manufacturing goods for the masses. Or make fuel for winter heat available only to the wealthy.

It is when people stop punishing pets for something they think their owner did to them. Also, when people realize a dog is not a weapon and it is not against the living God to ride a horse.

It is when people talk to each other face to face to resolved problems. This is better than shooting and war. Even if it takes awhile.

Everyone who reads this can add things I have not even thought of I bet.
