Where The Boys Are
As much as I have on my "to do" list, after work last night, I watched an old movie. It starred George Hamilton, Connie Francis, Frank Gorshen, Jim Hutton, Yvette Mimieux, and Paula Prentiss. I've always been a Prentiss fan.It was black and white. I thought I'd just watch a few minutes, but I got hooked.

The story line was cliche, conservative by today's standards. The jokes were not that funny. But there was something captivating about it. It was a simple, fun movie from a more innocent time. Although young women have developed a more casual attitude about sex in the last 50 years, the concept that men and women have different expectations from relationships still rings true.

I like watching these stars when they were young. I enjoy a glimpse at the old fashions, make-up and manners of a by-gone era.
