I found a pasta sauce recipe from wikihow. And so I made it. And set off the fire alarm. I'm a "do as I go" sort of person, so after I poured the oil into the pot to heat up, I began chopping the garlic and tomatoes. I took too long with the garlic- apparently I needed 3 cloves, not 2, so as I chopped the third clove, the smoke alarm started beeping. Uncle ran over to see the fuss- and he pulled out the fan to try and diffuse the smoke. So I just dumped in all the garlic and tomatoes I had chopped, and pulled out a few herbs to throw in. Sis was on Facetime with me, so she witnessed the whole thing. And Mom called in the middle of the fiasco.

Next time, I'm adding carrots and onions and such! It tastes a tad bland with just tomato.
