I Am My Past
BCOF

I have often wondered what would happen if I traveled back in time.  When I was younger I often daydreamed about what I could do to make my life different, to make it better.  I could change all the tragedies that disrupted my life.  I could change EVERYTHING.  Finally I came to a realization.  Everything in reality is related to everything else.  Every event in a life is an outcome of previous events and a contributor to future events.  My past is what has made me who and what I am, every piece of it infinitely interrelated with every other piece.  If even one infinitely small piece of my life were altered what would happen to the me I am now?  The past few years I have been happier than I ever was previously.  The me that I am today does not want to commit suicide.  Who knows what a change can amount to?  My past produced me, and today I love myself.  Rather than change the past I will concentrate on performing, what I have learned to be, the most appropriate actions in the present, which I have discovered, lead to the most desired outcomes in the future.
