The longest day

Today seemed to last forever. I had been working almost incessantly since the beginning of January. I had only three days off, which included a long bout with a cold. All of a sudden change has taken place. I get two days off this week and at least two off next week I am in a state of shock. My body feels betrayed. I still fight my cold accompanied by stomach issues. My wife is out of town in Pennsylvania at least twelve hours away. She is taking care if sis who has cancer. I feel lost. Maybe my blog can lure some people my way. It is no fun being alone. I will see my son tomorrow and saw my best friend today. How long will it take to feel better and to feel at home again.
