Dancing Queen

DANCING QUEEN: A SONNET

Happily laughing with dear friends so fine
While twirling with moves like a dancing queen
All enjoying music that's so divine
Looking forward to what's next to be seen
With good friends you're in the mood for a dance
All the while these are fun memories
Camera's ready, and when you get the chance
All will smile when you flash and say cheese
At a great party on this Friday night
Having friendship moments without a care
The four of you make a beautiful sight
All dressed so lovely and swinging your hair
There's nothing like loving life with your peers
Bonded friendships last throughout many years

A sonnet is three quatrains followed by a rhyming couplet, for a total of fourteen lines altogether.
Each line is 10 syllables long.
The sonnet has the following pattern:
abab, cdcd, efef, gg
