Time
I am more aware than ever of the gift of time. I learned this literally when I was forced to use my smartphone to keep track of time when I preached. The usual timepiece that hung in the back of the sanctuary broke.
To my dismay my alarm went off in the middle of my sermon. It was a cruel trick. I wished I had a gun. I could not shut it up. Finally I took it shut it off(it still rang) and let it fly away from view.
The sermon titlešŸ˜: what are you doing here?
My answer: trying to get my dumb phone to shut up. In time it did. By that point I was running out of time to preach. Time is precious especially when it's running out.
