My JOB AS A SUPPORT WORKER.
I was doing voluntary work as a carer in a disability day centre, and was in the office, when the manageress came to me and whispered
'There's a paid job going are you interested.
' My heart skipped a beat, and almost shouted 'YES,' but nodded back to her in discreet.
She closed the office door and put the sign do not enter, because the clients always used the office for different reasons. She told me that the job was a five year contract a fund given by Social Services to assist Special needs students in the college and when the college was closed I was too work I the day centre and also work there one day a week. I was excited until she said two of the teachers from the Adult training Centre would be in on the interview, thought Was I good enough for this employment and pushed the thought to one side and said to myself 'Of course I am I have the St John Ambulance certificates to prove it
