My first day as a voluntry carer continued 100 blogs
At the day care centre, I was given the tea trolly a asked to give the clients their tea. I knew a few of the clients and served them with a cup of tea. I approached the next client who was in a wheel chair and had more serious disability.

I poured him his tea and turned to the other clients and said
'Does he have milk and sugar?'
' Why don't you ask me? ' the voice coming from the person in the wheel chair, He then went on to say,

' These legs may not work but I have a brain and a mouth that works perfectly.'
I mumbled
' I'm sorry and continued with the tea round I learned a good lesson that day because I have never made that mistake since that first day.
