Driving North
After a long shift last night I hit the road from Beaumont to Denison, TX.
Usually when I make this drive I take 69 all the way up on a drive time ranging anywhere from six to eight hours; but this time around I decided on taking I10 to I45. This new way would take me through both Houston and Dallas.
This is the first time I've ever gone straight through Dallas and I'm absolutely amazed that the speed limit on the highway through the heart of downtown is 70mph! That was something sort of a white knuckle drive if I may say so.
Good thing is it took me six hours flat to make that drive, and that's what counts!
