Chrismass Poem

Christmas day Scotland is for the wains

Mammies and daddies have travelled
on busses and trains

To the shops for bargains and toys

Just to please their girls and boys.

The wains will hang their stocking the night before

And hope that santa comes knocking on their door.

Toys and sweets will be all over the floor

Then it will be all over they will go to sleep.

The celebrations begin next we
At New year right after the bells

The neighbours will shake your hand
when the clock strikes twelve.

everybody will wish good cheer

With a whiskey or a beer

And the party will begin

Dancing to the highland fling.

A HAPPY NEW YEAR/
