When Our Work Is Done
When day is done and shadows fall,
         Slowly home we walk,
When the breezes blow and the owl calls,
         Silently we talk.

Our work is done, now we can rest
         And pass the hours by,
We've done our work and passed the test
And now we end our sigh.

And when we leave this grand old place,
         And go to fairer lands,
We shall go with happy face,
         Into happier and dearer hands.

For our work is done and we need not worry
He'll accept us with a smile
We did nothing to be sorry
         We'll welcome our last mile.
