Power in the Blood - October 27

Today, I'm thankful for the "blood" of Jesus. When I repent of my sin and make Him the Lord of my life, His applied blood washes me and makes me clean. The blood of Jesus is devine---and, therefore, offers many benefits to His people (cleansing from all sin, soundness of mind, healing of broken bodies, protection from the enemy, etc.) for He did not bleed and die for us in vain.

…If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.… 1 John 1:6-8
