It's Always a Day for Haikus
So I've been away for a while but you know what they say, life gets in the way, frustrating, I know but it does. I've completed the five Haikus, I have to say I love writing them and Senryus too. It's trying to say as much as possible in, not only very few words but also having the challenge of setting a syllable count to it as well.

I'd never heard of them until I did a module of Creative Writing in my English Literature Degree, I just enjoyed writing them from the very start.

My plan now is to attempt both The Boston Tea Party Challenge and The Balloon Flight Travelogue. I have only just realised that both of these finish before the end of November so I need to get my skates on, never was much good on wheels, so perhaps not a good analogy. However, I will have to pick up the pace and get my creative brain in gear, leave this uncivilised world behind and delve into a more uncivilised one perhaps, who know?
