Jan. 7: New Year's Tradition
Whew! Almost caught up. Thank you for allowing me to do so and putting up with a series of posts from me.

Develop a new New Year's Eve tradition. It can be serious or humorous; possible or impossible.
.................

We're a family of cooks, that's what we like to do. We don't necessarily need to be eating all this food that we make.

I always thought it would be nice to find a family who could use a good home cooked meal or a box of christmas cookies to brighten up their holiday but it could also be a great New Year tradition.

It's a tricky idea because you don't want to make anyone feel less than than are or embarrass them; so how would you go about finding the right candidate. I've thought about this a lot and haven't come up with an answer. It may be possible that some of the local churches might know of needy recipients or social services; perhaps they would be willing to deliver the package anonymously. It would make me feel good to know that someone else enjoyed the gift. I have so much more than I need, it's almost a crime that others may not.
