A Bad Experience Reversed
Dummy me posted this directly into the forum so I apologize if you are seeing it twice. That's what happens when you try to hurry and do something.

What do you think? When have you had to turn a potential "worst experience" into something positive?
...........................................
This may be a little too personal even for me but here goes.

My worst experience ever was falling in love with a con artist, 15 years my junior, selling my house, quitting my good job, and moving 1500 miles away with him. It was a great 5 years, while the money lasted. I started all over again in mid-life from top credit to zero credit - alone.

This is the positive: I learned to be more cautious with relationships, not as trusting. I worked really, really, hard for about 10 years and once again have top credit. I found out I don't need to be co-dependent on anyone, that I can do just fine (maybe better) on my own. I found my true self, not someone I thought everyone wanted me to be.Oh, and I got my same job back again.

Life is good.
