The Reverend Buffalo

"I was born poor.
I ate tomato sandwiches.
My father was a Preacher and
he worked for the sanitation department.
I know what it means to be poor."
Reverend Buffalo takes along sip of water
from a crystal glass.

"But what am I talking about?!" he bellows.

"You want more money." a tiny voice answers.

"Who said that? Who spoke?" Reverend Buffalo
spun about looking for the intercessor ..

"Winkin." a tiny six winged lady answered.
She was no bigger than your thumb.

"Get me a fly swatter!" the Reverend bellowed.
Winkin giggled, "Does your big mouth attract flies?"
The congregation laughed.

"You are a Demon! By the power of Christ I cast you out!"
the Reverend Buffalo swung his Bible at Winkin and missed.
He began to wheeze, "I need a medical attention..(cough)
I'm..." He collapsed.

Winkin waved her flute over him.
It made a hypnotic tune and the Reverend rived.
"I thought I was having a heart attack." he put on
his glasses and looked Winkin in her tiny radiant
green eyes.

"You saved me. Are you God?" he whimpered and sobbed.

Winkin laughed and show the Reverend her bare butt.
"I am a Feary. GIA is my mother and Sophia is the mother
of Zoe the spark of all life." Winkin curtsied ..

"You should worry about polluting your land and water and air!
Do you want to live in a dump?
GIA will raise fire from Kronos and storms ..
She will shake you off her back like fleas!"
Winkin blew into her flute and the church vanished.
The entire congregation along with the Reverend Buffalo stood
in the massive city dump.

"This is your kingdom!" Winkin roared like a lion.
Lightning and cyclone winds spun about them.
"What ye sow, so shall ye reap." Winkin preached
from the Reverend's Bible and vanished.

"Take cover!" the Reverend Buffalo shouted as the piles
of garbage turned into a might flood.
They ran for high land and reached the Reverend's estate.
"There is no escape from Mother Nature!" Winkin bellowed.

She appeared over the Reverend as he and his congregation
knelt before her with their hands clasped, begging the
tiny faery for mercy.
"Do not worship me!" she roared.
"Respect the land! And GIA will feed you!" Winkin preached
and blew her flute.

The Reverend Buffalo was in his church again with his congregation.
He was soaked with garbage...
